The Maryland Cannabis Administration is pleased to announce that registration for the upcoming Cannabis Industry Workforce Development Conference is now open!
The conference will take place October 10, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Maryland Innovation Center located at 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD, 21046. Click here to view the flyer.
Conference Overview:
The Cannabis Industry Workforce Development Conference will feature workshops, networking opportunities, and a job fair connecting current and future industry workers with Maryland cannabis industry employers. As a workforce development participant or alumni, this event provides a structured opportunity to demonstrate your qualifications to hiring managers and industry professionals.
Career Exploration – Engage with representatives from licensed cannabis cultivation, processing, dispensary, and ancillary businesses actively seeking qualified candidates
On-Site Interview Opportunities – Participating employers will be available to accept resumes or conduct preliminary interviews during the job fair
Professional Development – Join industry workshops and gain insights into workplace expectations and career advancement pathways
Industry Networking – Establish professional connections with employers, industry leaders, and fellow workforce development participants
