Who Must Renew Their Registration?
If they wish to remain in the medical cannabis program, registered patients must renew their MCA registration every six years and caregivers must renew their registration every two years.
MCA sends renewal notices 60 days prior to the registration expiration date. If a patient or caregiver does not renew their registration prior to expiration, they have an additional 60 day grace period after expiration to renew. If a patient or caregiver does not renew their registration within 60 days after the registration expires, the individual must submit a new application to re-register if they wish to remain in the medical program.
If you are an existing registered patient or caregiver, please DO NOT submit a NEW application to renew your registration. Follow the steps below to submit your renewal.
