Step 1: Complete Required Virtual Courses
Participants must complete and pass the following online courses:
1. Packaging, Labeling, & Product Approval
2. Good Manufacturing Practices & Quality Assurance
3. Employee Protections
4. Inspections & Enforcement
5. Occupational Health & Safety
6. Patient Engagement
7. Product Testing Requirements
Step 2: Attend Level II Advanced In-Person Training
Participants must complete three (3) contact hours of in-person training through elective courses provided by MCA’s Workforce Development Program.
Approved elective courses include:
● Level II Processing: Rosen Extraction and Formulations
● Level II Cultivation: Advanced Cultivation Series at University of Maryland- Eastern Shore
Registration information for 2026 Advanced Level II Courses will be sent by Spring 2026.
Step 3: Pass Certification Examination
Participants must pass the CCIP certification examination. A minimum score of 85% on the examination is required to complete and receive the credential.
